I have worked with Blackcat Elliot, a popular local rock band based in Albany, NY, on many print and digital design projects to help advertise upcoming events over the course of several years, from 2017 to the present.
One of the more enjoyable aspects of working with this client is their eagerness to explore different styles and subject matter to support the message. This freedom allows us to leverage a wide variety of creative solutions.
Poster Design
Posters are a key element used to help advertise local music, and are displayed throughout the city at multiple locations like local bars and clubs, and college student centers.
Digital Ads
Digital reach has become a preferred means of advertising for local bands because it is cost-efficient and easy to manage. Facebook posts are a primary means of spreading the word quickly, and across a diverse crowd.
Gus Unplugged
Gus Hais, leader and lead singer/guitarist for Blackcat Elliot, decided to pursue a solo career in addition to maintaining the band. His solo style is a little different form the band – all acoustic and featuring mostly cover songs.
